Tattooing since the early 2000’s

Nick Filth got into tattoo culture through listening to metal and skateboarding at a young age. While tattooing underground in the early 2000’s he eventually landed an apprenticeship at Body Creations Tattoo. His commitment to art and tattooing permitted him to guest spot at tattoo shops all across the country. His work has been published in books, his art has been used for album covers, and he has contributed art to countless galleries, companies such as Yellow Beak Press, Sombra Grays, Luna Pigments, organizations, and charities throughout America and several other countries such as the Baba Ram Dass and the Love Serve Remember Foundation.

Nick received his Body Art Practitioner’s License in July of 2007 in the State of New Hampshire. Beginning in Rochester, NH at Body Creations Tattoo, Nick left amicably within his second year of working in Rochester. From there he worked at an all custom studio in Massachusetts where he slowed down and focused on larger tattoos rather than the fast pace of a street shop. Eventually moving to a new location in Portsmouth, NH nearly 1 year later, Nick began honing in on his client base, the seacoast area of New Hampshire. While working in Portsmouth for 2 and a half years his clientele has grown widely and he has made a successful name for himself. Following a year of working privately, doing guest spots and working conventions all over the country. In 2012 he co-owned Hidden History Tattoo in Dover, New Hampshire. After its closing after 8 great years he is now working on custom tattoos exclusively in a private studio.
